Danville, California's Rage 4th Racing is a leader in King of the Hammers and Rockcrawling competition with 11 championships. Led by Jason Scherer, the team has become the premier rock sports outfit in the USA. The sport has adapted dramatically in just the past few years, from traditional slow and precise Rockcrawling competitions in places like Moab, Utah, to Rockracing on fast paced, short courses, to the latest "Hammer King" events that combine desert racing with outrageous rockcrawling for 100 miles and more than 5 hours. Teammate Jeff Mello is a winner of the Baja 1000 and various Pro Stadium events, while now competing in both Modified Stock in a Jeep CJ-7 and in Pro Modified with a heavily-modded Wrangler TJ. While both vehicles run complete Red Line fluids, our Power Steering fluid in the Pro Modified Wrangler is significant in that this system is completely hydraulic-with no steering box or mechanical connection-so a reliable fluid is paramount.
