The 8’ hose kit for the 17020 Total Intake System Cleaner (a standalone product and also included in our 17060 Complete Fuel System Service Kit), has been evolved and improved. We’ve redesigned the hose/applicator system so that you have the option to switch between two different applicator styles, making it vastly more versatile.

Many of the new European vehicles, plus more domestic models and aftermarket CAI systems, have gone to hard plastic air intake system making it more difficult to install the s-hook applicator into the air intake hose. So, we designed a cone adaptor that you can use to install into the system air return line port or other access points (such as these examples on a BMW 435i and a aftermarket CAI):
