After 24 grueling hours of racing, the Red Line Oil-equipped JDC Miller Motorsports Oreca FLM09 sits on top of the podium with the win in Prototype Challenge at the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona.
At the end, the four man team of Mikhail Goldberg, Stephen Simpson, Chris Miller and Kenton Koch worked together to finish the race P1 with a three lap lead after with 27 pit stops and a total of 702 laps.
"We have raced with John Church and JDC for many years, so this is especially sweet," said Red Line president, Cameron Evans. "They used the same products as our grassroots customer, which is even better. We raced with Red Line 40WT Race Oil in the LS engine, Water Wetter, CV2 Grease and our 75W90 GL5 in the Xtrac sequential transmission."
The Prototype Challenge category has each team utilizing the same chassis type and GM LS V-8 power, attracting some of the world's best professional sports car racers to the format. Involved in formula car racing since its inception in 1994, JDC MotorSports established itself as one of the leading junior open-wheel teams in North America and now competes in LMPC, Lites, Pro Mazda and The F2000 categories. The team races with associate sponsorship from Red Line Synthetic Oil, HR Sportswear and Showdown Displays. Additional information can be found at www.jdcmotorsports.com.
