Ypsilanti, Mich. –Two of the most recognized names in NHRA Drag Racing have joined forces. JEGS Mail Order, a high-performance auto parts powerhouse, and Kalitta Motorsports, one of the most successful teams in drag racing, announced that JEGS will join Kalitta Motorsports as an associate sponsor for the team in the 2011 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series.
JEGS associate sponsorship will adorn all three of Kalitta Motorsports' race cars, including the team's Top Fuel dragsters driven by Doug Kalitta and Dave Grubnic, as well as the DHL Funny Car driven by Jeff Arend, beginning at the NHRA Winternationals in Pomona, Calif., Feb. 24-27, 2011.

One of the highlights of the new partnership will be the utilization of the JEGS in-car camera, which will be used on all three Kalitta Motorsports racers and will provide NHRA fans and ESPN viewers with unique and unprecedented footage of the world’s quickest and fastest race cars as they traverse 1,000-ft. tracks in less than four seconds!

Connie serves as crew chief on the Grubnic-driven racer with help from assistant crew chief James Riola.
